Day 13 - Princess Ring (Belle from Beauty and the Beast).

This DIY advent calendar has been a huge hit! E looks forward to it every morning.

I am loving it too! I think it is helping E to manage her excitement. In the past, E would get a little antsy leading up to Christmas. It is just too hard to control herself with so much anticipation brimming up from within. One year, Santa put potatoes at the bottom of her stocking.

I don't think E is going to get any potatoes this year. Not only is her behaviour stellar, she is also being very helpful. I suppose the advent calendar is almost like a daily bribe, but oh well, it's a Christmas thing. :)
