E got her first call from a boy yesterday

She has been getting calls more regularly from her friends since she started handing out her phone number just before Christmas. I told her that she could give our number to some of her friends so we could invite them over for playdates. Well, I had no idea that E is friends with a little boy in her class. She still plays with her girl friends but she sets aside one recess to play with him.

He called her last night. The 2 of them talked about their toys, their families and a playdate. I haven't talked to T's mom yet, but E told him that he could come over next Saturday.

My little girl is growing up. She is planning her own play dates now. :)
