Happy Halloween!

Yesterday, E and I carved our pumpkin. It was so much fun. E loved sticking her hands inside and pulling out the guts. We got so many seeds that I roasted them last night and put some in her backpack for snacktime today. In fact, E put a raw one in her mouth last night and told me how yummy it was. Continuing in the pumpkin theme, she will be dressed as a pumpkin tonight for trick or treating, but for school, she is dressed as a fairy princess.

Her kindergarten class will be doing a parade around the school. E has been really excited about Halloween all week. We have been reading Halloween stories and at school they have been doing a lot of fun Halloween activities the whole week. She is going to be ecstatic when we go out trick or treating after supper. This will be her first time going door to door.

Last year, we took her to the Prime Minister's Residence, the Governor General's residence and to a mall where they let the kids trick or treat from store to store. But tonight is the real deal...trick or treating the way Mummy and her tios did when we were all kids. I am pretty excited too! :)
