playdate with M

This was the highlight of E's day. It was so adorable to see E and M reunite. It has been more than 2 weeks since they have seen each other. They have been the best of friends since preschool. When our car pulled up in front of M's house, M came out the front door and ran down her driveway. E couldn't get out of the car fast enough to run toward M. The two gave each other big hugs the likes of which should have had "The Hills are Alive..." as their background music.

J was a wonderful playdate coordinator and took the kids to the local park where they were able to play on the play structure and splash around in the pool. When I showed up to pick up E, they were enjoying cookies at M's house. A nice reunion complete with treats at the end.

After the playdate, we headed over to her abuelos and then T and J's for a BBQ. We had another fun afternoon skipping rope. E loves and I mean she really really LOVES skipping rope. Her face takes on this look of sheer joy when she is skipping rope. If I wasn't part of her rope skipping fun, it would be so great to have a video of her doing it. Maybe next time..
