blood work needs to be redone and I need a vaccination

The doctor's office called on Friday and said that the labels were mixed up between E's and my blood sample vials and our forms, so the blood tests need to be redone for HIV for both of us. Our Hep B blood samples were fine though and E is immune and I am negative for it but not immune. E received the twinrix vaccine in 2007 over several months, there were 3 doses. I did not.

So, we will be redoing our HIV blood test tomorrow and I will be getting a Hep B vaccine once all the blood work is done.

I am still encouraged though as it took Public Health less than 2 weeks to receive and reject our samples, so hopefully the timeline for Public Health to receive and return results will be about the same for the second blood sample.
