yesterday's fun

Yesterday, it was my sister's birthday. We all went over to her place for a little party. What fun we had making our own personal pizzas, playing a super fun party game and singing happy birthday while E played the tune on the piano.

Funny thing though, E is a little hesitant when she gets to certain notes which can slow down the music. What was really funny was when we all slowed down our singing to keep up with E's playing. We busted a gut laughing. The little perfectionist that she is, E wanted to go again so she could "get it right". So we sang "happy birthday" twice while those little candles kept burning. Second time was a charm and not nearly as slow as the first. It's a good thing E was happy with her 2nd take as those candles almost extinguished themselves. :)
