2 weeks and 2 days

E is doing a countdown. Yesterday, we picked up some more stuff for her party: starbursts and skittles for the piñata and some Easter foam stickers for Easter crafts that will occur during the egg decorating portion of her party right at the start.

The bunny piñata is taking shape. We added another layer of papier maché and all sections are now good and strong. We are going to assemble it tonight and put an entire layer of papier maché over the whole thing. The bunny piñata is going to be huge! I am hoping to snap a picture of the pre-assembled stage, the mid-stage and the final product to throw up here on the blog for posterity.

The invitations have been written and are being distributed by E to her schoolmates.

E is more excited by the 2 weeks and 1 day for her fiesta than the 2 weeks and 2 days to her cumpleaños. Can't say I blame her, the party portion of her celebration is full of friends and fun. E has already told me that she intends to win all the games. Ha! That should be fun to see. I will control the music for the egg pass. (guess who will be ejected first?!). She can go first for the bunny cotton tail game, but it tends to be the later kids that get where the tail should go. And the egg on the spoon race, well, that's anybody's game.

Now to figure out what the prizes will be...
