...my birthday and mother's day together. E made me this beautiful picture frame at school and was so very proud to present it to me along with a beautiful poem. This was my favourite gift. E really does beam when she is proud of herself and it is so fun to watch. :)
E also delighted in planning my birthday party just as I had done for hers. She even made up an agenda that went something like this:
• eat supper
• eat cake
• open presents
• play games
I even supplied loot bags (there were 3 left over from E's birthday party).
It was a nice weekend.
