Today is E's last day at school and my last day at work until the new year. We were both so excited this morning. E brought in most of her gifts on Wednesday since I had to drive her. School buses were cancelled on account of the freezing rain. I have never understood why the school stays open, work stays open, but school buses are cancelled. Anyway, it was a great opportunity to bring the gifts in as they would have been awkward for E on the bus. This year, all teachers, bus drivers, etc got: A Winter Wellness Package. B, her bus driver got his gift this morning.
Each gift bag included vitamin C lollipops, Christmas tissue, cough drops, lip balm, hand sanitizer and chocolates...and this poem:
