2 years and 2 days since the day we met

How time flies. It is so hard to believe that it has been 2 years and 2 days since the day we first met E. Oddly enough, it also feels like she has always been in our lives at the same time.

Reflecting back on the days when we were beginning to know each other, it amazes me just how much she has grown and how so much of her personality has remained the same. She has such a wonderful personality full of joy and curiosity that makes every day a fun day for her and everyone in our family. She still has the same laugh and loves to joke around, her humour has evolved to include a wide repertoire of jokes and riddles. B delights in teaching her new jokes all the time and it is so much fun to see how she interprets these new jokes the first time she goes to tell them. Sometimes her version is funnier than the original! :)

Well, tomorrow is our last post-placement visit with the social worker, so I should tidy up a bit and hide some of the boxes that are still left over from our move.
