my girl is back

What a difference a good night's sleep makes. Today, E was back to her happy good-natured self. She even admitted that yesterday she was "in a bad mood" because she "didn't have her new curtains". E is blaming the absence of those curtains for her lack of sleep. She is also happy about having had a say in the decision of what new curtains to buy and she is pretty pleased with her choice. They do look nice and may not completely block out the sun, but do lessen the brightness in her room.

We made a trip out to the library before supper and returned a few things. While there, we picked up some more items, all but one in Spanish. I also noticed that it isn't just the Spanish section that is growing, the Arabic, Chinese and Somali sections are also twice as big from what they were 2 years ago. What a nice sight to see so much available in the kids section in all those languages. I love the multi-cultural current of my city!
