what we do to keep ourselves busy...

E's birthday is still months away, but as of today, the planning has begun.  E, my sister and I had our first magic workshop this afternoon!  We will be practising 3 tricks a week and picking the best for our homespun show.  In the spirit of such a great start to the party planning, I went and ordered the loot bags as shown in the pic above.

I will be borrowing an idea from a party recently attended by E, and attaching a helium filled star balloon to the handle of each goody bag.  It was such a great idea and looked absolutely fabulous!  The little gift bags act as the weights for each balloon.  Brilliant!  :)

Party planning is a fantastic distraction from all that is going on in this seemingly endless adoption saga...
